Evaluation of extracellular secretion of ErL-ASNase expressed by different E. coli strains (△: E. coli Rosetta(DE3); ◊: E. coli BL21(DE3) Star; ☐: E. coli BL21(DE3); ○: E. coli TOP10). As time zero is considered the point at which IPTG is added. Cells were grown at 37°C as described in text. The standard deviation for the specific activities (U/mg), evaluated from three independent determinations was found to be less than 15%.
