The turbidity measurements at 400 nm of inclusion bodies solubilized by microwave treatment with different denaturants. The inclusion bodies were solubilized by microwave treatment for 2 minutes in 8 M urea, 6 M GuHCl and 20 mM SDS (solutions of all the denaturants were prepared in 50 mM Tris–HCl, pH 7.0) and the absorbance at 400 nm was recorded and compared with the absorbance of inclusion bodies suspended in buffer (50 mM Tris–HCl, pH 7.0) only without any microwave treatment. All the turbidity measurements were carried out at 400 nm on a Beckman Coulter DU730 spectrophotometer.
